So, how did Pilate return the favor to the Temple rulers who forced him into condemning Jesus to die? He did so by writing the statement of Jesus’ guilt in Hebrew in such a way that it actually portrayed Jesus as YHWH (יהוה) Himself!
But how?
Here is the sentence “Jesus of Nazareth and the King of the Jews” in Hebrew. Remember, Hebrew is read from right to left. I’ve highlighted the first letter of each word.
(ישוע הנצרי ומלך היהודים)
The acrostic formed by taking the first letter of each word of the sentence “Jesus of Nazareth and (“ו”) the King of the Jews” is “יהוה” (YHWH) – the covenant name of Israel’s God! This is why the Temple leaders were so unhappy with how Pilate versed his charge.

Meanwhile, Israel turned 70, April 18, 2018 read how this vibrant country is in sharp contrast with Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) describes the land of Palestine (the land of the Jews, including Jerusalem). Ezekiel Saw the Wheel:
From Lamb/Lion by Dr. David Reagan; " the very first Study Bible ever written was by C.I. Scofield. And it was in 1909 where he put study notes down at the bottom of the page. And incidentally he was severely criticized for that; people said that he was adding to the Word of God. Today we just don't even think about Study Bibles just about everybody has one. Now what's interesting here is when he got to Ezekiel 38 and 39 you know what he said about those chapters? He said, "Folks, I don't understand it. I can't explain it. But the Bible says it therefore I believe it, in the end times Russia will invade Israel." Now that took a lot of faith in 1909. Think about it. In 1909 Israel did not exist. There was no prospect that Israel would ever exist. Russia was a Christian Orthodox nation in 1909. A Christian Orthodox nation is going to invade a nation that doesn't exist? He said, "I don't understand it. I can't explain it, but the Bible says it therefore I believe it. You see there has been many prophecies through the years that we never understood. He didn't understand it, but he believed it. He believed that somehow or other God would bring it together. Today we don't even stop and think about that because we know Israel now exists. Russia is an aggressive nation. They've just taken Georgia for the purpose of providing their land bridge to come down into Israel. We can see it all coming together. And we understand it where as other generations did not understand "
"The name of Magog is not the only tribe or people that Ezekiel mentions. He also says that the future nation of Magog would be the principle leader of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. Actually, in many Bibles this portion of verse 2 is typically translated as “…Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal”. However, the word “chief” is really a proper name and many marginal notes say that the verse should be translated alternately as “…Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal”. This seemingly minor difference is actually very important when trying to discover the geographical territory Magog represents. If the word chief is written properly as the name Rosh, then the aspect of Russia figuring into the prophecy becomes even clearer...l.“The term Rus was…used to designate the southern outpost of the whole system of defense” (from Encyclopedia Britannica, 1972 ed., vol. 19, s.v. “Russian History”).
Historically, the terms Rus and Rosh are too similar to ignore. Considering the other evidence for the identity of Magog and Russia, we will soon correlate the two names to see an amazing accuracy of this prophecy concerning the Rus. It is primarily in this portion of Ezekiel’s prophecy that we will find a connection tying together the ancient time period of the Scythians with the more recent development of modern Russia.

dFrom my study and imagination:
Adam and God were walking together in the Garden, enjoying the fruit of every type of food given to Adam by the Lord. The Lord turned to Adam and said that all the work he had accomplished was good and asked how long did he spend naming all the animals. Adam replied that it took a thousand years in Earth time. Really said the Lord, seems like it has only been a day to me.
Adam continued his conversation as he observed that all the animals had mates and families and it made him feel, well lonely. True he had the Lord to converse with and to be taught the ways of the world, such as, there is a tree whose fruit while pleasing to the eye and good for eating, the end result is the knowledge of good and evil which would be bad for him even cause death. So I have marked that area as a place to avoid, although I see your serpent going in and out trying to persuade me to follow him. He indicated that he could be a companion because no other companion was found in all the animal kingdom. But I kinda figure I want someone more like myself who will be my soulmate, helping me in all that I endeavor to accomplish. In short Lord, I really want a woman..
Yes, Adam, I see that you lonely and want a companion and I feel empathy so I will make you a mate; one who is a perfect helper, being a part of you and will be your constant in mind and body. Always ready to follow your lead and do your bidding. Wow said Adam, that sounds wonderful, but what will be the cost of such a one? Well, said the Lord, for someone who is perfect like i described, it will cost you an arm and a leg... Oh, said Adam and sat thoughtfully for a century or so contemplating the cost... finally, he asked the Lord, what can i get for just a rib?
OK! so a little humour is good for the soul and helps relieve tension. Gen 2: 20 The man gave names to all the livestock, to the birds of the sky, and to every wild animal; but for the man no helper was found who was like him.
21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to come over the man, and he slept. God took one of his ribs and closed the flesh at that place.
22 Then the Lord God made the rib He had taken from the man into a woman and brought her to the man.
23 And the man said: This one, at last, is bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh; this one will be called woman, for she was taken from man.
24 This is why a man leaves his father and mother and bonds with his wife, and they become one flesh.
So, what is a family, well it seems, at this present time, to be a group of individuals who all gather around a TV and as the troup grows, it becomes necessary to add more TV's until the group completely fragments to find their own TV group.
Ha, again as Dr. Harry Paul use to tell us, the Bible is full of humour. For as long as I had questions about the phrase 'leaves his father and mother' I concluded that the man gave up his ties to his father's family and bonded with his new wife (I presumed at his brides family household)... recently however, further study on this subject leads me to believe that the intention of that prhase is that the man and woman form a new family, away from the entablements of their existing relatives. It is arguably the intent of the phrase used here: Genesis 9:1 God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.
They listened well, but kept the numbers fairly constant with small incremental growth leading to the 1 billion mark from the year 0 when our Lord was on the Earth. then in the 19th century, the population has exploded so in the past 100 years, the population now approaches 8 billion according to UN records... But, that's another study, (are we approaching the 'full' number... referenced here: Romans 11:25 So that you will not be conceited, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery: a partial hardening has come to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.
"{14} But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. {15} For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;" [2Co 2:14-15 NASB]
In addition to taste, God comments on the 'aroma' 'fragrance' of sacrifice and sacrificial life.
The Parable of the Vineyard Owner
33 "Listen to another parable: There was a man, a landowner, who planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug a winepress in it, and built a watchtower. He leased it to tenant farmers and went away. 34 When the grape harvest drew near, he sent his slaves to the farmers to collect his fruit. 35 But the farmers took his slaves, beat one, killed another, and stoned a third. 36 Again, he sent other slaves, more than the first group, and they did the same to them. 37 Finally, he sent his son to them. 'They will respect my son,' he said. 38 "But when the tenant farmers saw the son, they said among themselves, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him and take his inheritance!' 39 So they seized him and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. 40 Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?" 41 "He will completely destroy those terrible men," they told Him, "and lease his vineyard to other farmers who will give him his produce at the harvest."Isa 17:1 An oracle concerning Damascus. Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city, and will become a heap of ruins.17:2 Her cities will be deserted for ever; they will be for flocks, which will lie down, and none will make them afraid.
Some say this prophecy was executed in the 8th century bc; others say that Damascus has never been completed deserted or 'a heap of ruins' Whatever, they are definately trying God's patience over there by slaughtering everyone, men, women, children. death by poison gas is a horrible way to go.Mark 13:7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. These things musthappen, but the end is still to come. 11 13:8 For nation will rise up in arms 12 against nation, andkingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines. 13 These are but the beginning of birth pains.
Persecution of Disciples13:9 “You must watch out for yourselves. You will be handed over 14 to councils 15 and beaten in the synagogues. 16 You will stand before governors and kings 17 because of me, as a witness to them.13:10 First the gospel must be preached to all nations. 13:11 When they arrest you and hand you over for trial, do not worry about what to speak. But say whatever is given you at that time, 18 for it isnot you speaking, but the Holy Spirit. 13:12 Brother will hand over brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise against 19 parents and have them put to death. 13:13 You will be hated byeveryone because of my name. 20 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 21
02/01/2017 2Ti 2:1 You therefore, my [fn]son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2:2 The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 2:3 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 2:4 No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier. 2:5 Also if anyone competes as an athlete, he [fn]does not win the prize unless he competes according to the rules. 2:6 The hard-working farmer ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops. 2:7 Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.
The Apostle Paul, the greatest teacher in the Gospel, (IMHO), teaches Timothy that he must strive for strength that is found in the grace of Christ Jesus, our Lord. The things he taught Timothy, he then commissioned him to take to other faithful men who would then teach others.

I apologise that this page is now coming up empty of my previous postings. I don't know what happened to my cogitations, some of which date back several years. The adage says nothing is ever truly lost from the internet, but I can't find this anywhere. Weebly, what happened?
Oh well, here's to a new start...
2017-04-06 Of the things I will not miss in Heaven, cemeteries is high on the list.
Mat 27:7
So they decided to use the money to buy the potter's field as a burial place for foreigners.
Most Bible references use terms like 'burial place' and it's mostly strangers to Israel who are buried there. (Abraham deserves some further cogitation); The potter's field was first used to bury Judas. I will not try to relect on his place in history or Heaven.
Easter is the time to reflect on the Resurrection of Jesus.
Luk 24:5
In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?
Luk 24:6
He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:
One of the things I will not miss in Heaven is cemeteries! Because I know my redeemer, Jesus Christ, has overcome death.
1Co 15:55
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”[fn]The Spirit did work in the lives of OT saints and I believe it was through the Work of Jesus in His perfection as God. Regardless, the 'gift of the Holy Spirit' (not gifts) was imparted first as told in Acts 2:38 when Peter preached the first Gospel message; "repent and be baptised for the remission of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"... and again we find the gift being given when Paul found 12 men who needed this gift although they we disciples of John the Baptist...
2018-Apr12 Can you recieve the gift of the Holy Spirit without being baptized, does this mean you aren't saved? Acts 19:1 While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul traveled through the interior regions and came to Ephesus. He found some disciples 2 and asked them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" "No," they told him, "we haven't even heard that there is a Holy Spirit." 3 "Then with what [baptism] were you baptized?" he asked them. "With John's baptism," they replied. 4 Paul said, "John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people that they should believe in the One who would come after him, that is, in Jesus." 5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, Humbly I submit this as truth from my study in the Holy Scripture....
There are many who dispute this, but not without straining gnats. It's amazing to me that Jesus left us two ordinances that are used by Satan to divide and cause dissention in the Church; Baptism and Communion.
