It is my belief that our Lord Jesus Christ left the Bible, ie Scripture, to provide a fully capable treatise of living a life Holy and consistent with His commands. 
John 6:27 Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.” 28 Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them,
​ “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”

Marriage Guide

Our Lord Jesus Christ's first miracle was the Cana Wedding Feast:  It was important enough that He allowed Himself to be used to allow the guests to enjoy the party that ensued, requiring the party host to provide refreshment to the guests.  Our Lord provided the finest wine available for that party during the feast.  In so doing, He showed respect and love for his mother.

Wider Scope

Our hope is that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God and by His shed blood, our sins can be forgiven.
   Eve believed Satan whe he told her she would not die but become as god... the end result was an immediate spiritural death (being seperated from God's intimate discourse) and physical death within 1000 years..(ad thousand years is like a day); Jesus' shed blood, sinless as per the law and human psych, is the perfect sacrifice to overcome spiritual and physical death caused by faith in the serpent.
